The finished "DMX show" for Freestyler is sent in a backup file. It contains all the necessary files (cue, chase, fixture) and additional settings (location, correction, patch, keyboard shortcuts, etc.). In addition to the backup file, the package also includes instructions and an image showing the keyboard shortcut configuration.

Unzip the received "rar" package to any location on your computer. Install the latest version of Freestyler (www.freestylerdmx.be). If you launched the program after installation, close it and open the backup file you received in the rar package (.fbf extension):

Opening the file will launch the Freestyler program:

At this point, all files and settings necessary for the "show" to run properly are loaded into the program.

After loading, the following message will appear: "Please restart FreeStyer after restore. Until then, no changes will be saved."

Click OK and close the program without making any changes.

After closing the program, restart it, this time using the desktop shortcut:

After restarting (and each subsequent one), the program will start with "show" loaded:

OK, the backup file has been correctly installed in the program.

If necessary, change the USB/DMX interface or art-net gateway settings. To do this, go to SETUP - FREESTYLER SETUP and configure the UNIVERSE 1 (and/or UNIVERSE 2) output accordingly in the INTERFACE SETUP tab.

After configuring the system, you need to properly address the connected equipment (moving heads, pairs, etc.). It's important to remember that for most devices, in addition to the DMX address, you also need to select the appropriate DMX mode (number of channels the device uses). All information on this topic is contained in a text file attached to the "show."
